Carson Marshall

Spiritual Formation

I graduated Cum Laude from Millsaps College May 2022 with a B.S in Religious Studies and Philosophy double major. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Ministry Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University. I experienced my call to ministry my sophomore year of college after transferring to Millsaps from Occidental College to continue my college soccer career. I was blessed with the opportunity to cultivate that call through a youth ministry internship with Vous Church and a pastoral internship with Oxford University United Methodist Church. Through internships, being the captain of a college soccer program, and leading domestic and international service trips, I have gained unique experiences that God has used to refine my character and develop my leadership skills. I am passionate about being a part of God’s redemptive process in individuals and communities by bringing the transformative love of Jesus through word and action. My hope after completing the residency is to pastor a healthy, life-giving church that actively works to make their city more like Heaven.
