Worship Ministry
God has used two main threads to guide me throughout my life: my passion for people and my passion for worship. I began serving as a worship volunteer at 12Stone while I was in college. In 2019, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in human services. My degree equipped me with the knowledge of how to help marginalized communities find the practical and communal resources they need. Volunteering at 12stone taught me how to serve, lead, and love while also growing my heart for worship. In 2020, I began working as a third-grade teacher at a private school but overwhelmingly concluded that God was calling me in a different direction. I began to specifically pray about my heart’s longing to pastor and lead people in worship. God answered my prayers quickly, and I was gifted with the opportunity to lead worship at a local church for a few Sundays. Thankfully, this position became more permanent, and I found myself completely in love and enthralled with the Church and its people. I decided to wholly surrender myself to be used as a vessel for Christ. Since then, He has brought me back to 12Stone, where I have experienced an abundance of restoration and joy as a worship resident. Once my journey here is over, I hope to join a ministry where I can continue to use the gifts and passions that the Lord has placed in me.
