Worship Ministry
I graduated from The Ohio State University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Music degree in Cello Performance. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Ministry Leadership from Wesley Seminary.
I started playing the cello at age 7 and participated in local youth orchestra and chamber music programs. I moved to Rochester, New York, to study at the Eastman School of Music, but after two years, I realized my motivation for pursuing music was solely focused on personal success and achievement.
God began a work in me when I transferred to OSU and started attending a new church and getting involved in a campus ministry called Cru. Serving in worship ministry reignited my passion for music, and I realized that my musical gifting was never meant to serve myself — it was meant to help others enter into God’s presence and experience Him. In that season, God taught me how to live surrendered to Him and how to cultivate a life of true worship. My desire to help others surrender to and experience Jesus grew, and I knew God was calling me to pursue worship ministry vocationally. As a 12Stone resident, my hope is that God would continue to grow and shape my calling to help people walk with Jesus for a lifetime.
Beyond music, I am particularly interested in how we form relationships and community in the Church. I am passionate about helping people find their place in the world as beloved children of God, woven into a spiritual family rooted in Christ-like love. Throughout the residency and beyond, I hope God uses my love for worship and community to build His Kingdom in the here and now.
