Spiritual Formation

kyra.jarrett@12stone.com

After graduating from high school in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, God began slowly preparing me for vocational ministry. He led me to Southern Wesleyan University where I started to sense a newfound passion for the local church and serving those who have not experienced the love of Jesus. I graduated in 2021 with a BS in Psychology and a minor in Christian Studies. While I was at SWU, for the first time in my life, I had people pouring into and discipling me. These mentors taught me what it means to know and be fully known by God. They taught me how to read, study, and memorize scripture. Because of those relationships, I was able to experience a relationship with God in a deeper way than I ever had before. I feel called to serve others in the same way my spiritual mentors served me – through discipleship and spiritual formation.

After my Residency, I will have earned a master’s in leadership through Wesley Seminary. My hope is to be a Spiritual Formation Pastor where I can be a part of equipping believers at all stages of their faith to fulfill the Great Commission.
