The
Residency
The Residency at 12Stone Church is designed to equip you to fulfill your calling to ministry for a lifetime. This pastoral leadership development program provides meaningful ministry experience with side-by-side coaching to develop you into a well-rounded pastor and follower of Jesus.
Residents at 12Stone Church are fully immersed in the church's day-to-day ministry, carrying real-time ministry weight and pressure. You will serve as a member of a department or campus team, attend department meetings, and have all the regular responsibilities of being a pastor.
But first and foremost, our goal is your development. It is the key driver for the Residency at 12Stone. By focusing on your growth, we make sure that you are on your way to a fulfilling career calling in ministry.
Development
When you become a resident at 12Stone, you are coming to be a pastor. This is not an internship or junior pastor position. You will have meaningful ministry work to do that will move the Kingdom forward. The job of the Residency program is to invest in your development while you invest in the Kingdom.
Resident Meeting
Residents across all 12Stone campuses meet every Thursday morning for two hours. During this time, you'll receive teaching that is focused on one of three areas: ministry skills development, leadership development, or personal and spiritual development.
Coaching One-On-One
You'll spend an hour each week meeting one-on-one with your coach. During this time, your coach will give you hands-on feedback on both your work as a resident and your growth as a person.
Ministry Experience
You are given an active role in your ministry track which allows you to take ownership of meaningful ministry responsibilities to develop your skills as a pastor.
All Staff
Residents participate with 12Stone staff from all campuses once a month during our all-staff meeting. During these meetings, you will have the chance to learn about church-wide initiatives, vision casting, and what it looks like to be a part of one large, diverse team all moving in the same direction.

Earn Your
Master's Degree
12Stone Church has now partnered with Wesley Seminary at Indiana Wesleyan University to offer all Residents an opportunity to earn their Master's Degree for free as a part of their leadership development.
