The Residency is a two-year leadership development program for emerging leaders who feel called to vocational church ministry.

The Program

The 12Stone Church Residency is a two-year, full-time leadership training program designed to give hands-on experience working with one of the staff teams of the church, personal mentoring and leadership training to equip emerging church leaders for a lifetime of ministry significance.

Earn Your Master's Degree

12Stone Church has now partnered with Wesley Seminary at Indiana Wesleyan University to offer all Residents an opportunity to earn their Master's Degree for free as a part of their leadership development.

Areas of Ministry

Children's Ministry

Experience leading volunteer teams, partnering with Children’s Ministry staff, helping children understand the love of Jesus, and planting seeds that God will use to transform families.

Student Ministry

Experience leading groups, planning events, preaching, writing, recruiting leaders, planning services, as well as developing relationships with parents and local schools.

Spiritual Formation

Experience leading groups, recruiting and developing volunteers, connecting with first-time guests, and discipling others to take their best next step in their spiritual journey.


Experience personal development of the knowledge of processes, rhythms, and spiritual intensity needed to walk and lead boldly in all worship environments.

Creative Arts

Experience intentional development in all ministry areas such as graphic design, production/film, and experience design.

Marketing and Communications

Experience strategizing and executing physical and digital communications to glorify and advance the Kingdom of God.
